The mighty porterhouse cut is essentially two cuts in one. This cut is comprised of a sirloin cut and a filet cut separated by a T-shaped bone. It’s often also referred to as the T-bone cut, however there is a slight difference between the porterhouse cut and the T-bone cut: size. The porterhouse cut typically contains significantly more of the filet portion than the T-bone cut, making it a larger and more prized cut.
